Im Vergleich zum Friktionsgelenk 40 ermöglicht das Friktionsgelenk 8 80 eine verdoppelte Stützweite und Tragkraft. Zusätzlich sorgt die zweifache Verschraubung für mehr Sicherheit. Dank der feinfühligen Einstellbarkeit der Bremse des Friktionsgelenks lässt sich der Schwenkarm einfach positionieren, ohne schwerfällig zu sein. Die vormontierten Sätze werden anschlussfertig mit Schrauben geliefert. Die Verschraubung kann stirnseitig in den Kernbohrungen von Profilen 8 80 oder nutseitig erfolgen.
